THE Knighted clone

This project was a self-initiated case study inspired by the darker tone and visual style of recent Darth Maul-focused storytelling within the Star Wars universe. The goal was to create a cinematic Jedi scene that captures a sense of tension, scale, and atmosphere.

I was responsible for the full production pipeline, including character animation, lighting, environment creation, compositing, and sound design. The focus was on strong, intentional camera movement and high-contrast lighting to enhance mood and bring a more grounded, cinematic feel to the scene.

The main inspiration came from studying how darker Star Wars narratives use shadow, color contrast, and framing to build emotion and presence. I paid close attention to how scenes are staged and lit to create a sense of isolation, power, and anticipation.

The biggest challenge was balancing dramatic lighting with clarity—maintaining detail while pushing contrast and atmosphere. This required continuous iteration across lighting, compositing, and final adjustments. The end result is a piece that reflects the Star Wars visual language while serving as a strong cinematic and VFX-focused case study.
