College Football National Championship

This project was a self initiated case study inspired by the College Football National Championship. The goal was to recreate the look and feel of ESPN style broadcast graphics and explore how championship moments are presented in modern sports media.

I modeled the championship logos and trophy, and handled the camera animation and lighting. The focus was on strong camera movement and dramatic lighting to give the scene a sense of scale, energy, and importance.

The main inspiration came from ESPN’s graphics packages, which combine bold design with cinematic motion. I studied their use of lighting, camera angles, and timing to get as close to that style as possible.

The biggest challenge was matching ESPN’s visual language. Their graphics feel polished and intentional, and recreating that level of quality required careful adjustments and repeated testing. Through iteration and close reference, I was able to create a result that feels true to the broadcast style while serving as a strong motion design case study.
