This project was a self initiated case study focused on a lightsaber, modeled after Obi-Wan Kenobi’s saber. This was a simple concept that I had wanted to create for a long time, driven by my love for Star Wars.

I modeled, animated, and composited every element in the video. The goal was to accurately recreate the saber’s design while presenting it in a clean, cinematic way that highlights its form and details.

The animation and lighting were kept controlled and intentional, allowing the saber to feel grounded and realistic. Subtle camera movement and focused lighting helped bring attention to the craftsmanship of the model without distracting from the iconic design.

Since this project was meant to be straightforward, the main focus was execution rather than complexity. The challenge was keeping the piece polished and purposeful while staying true to the original reference. The result is a clean, focused case study that celebrates both the design and my personal connection to the source material.
