UNSHAKABLE SERMON BUMPER

This cinematic sermon bumper was created for Park Avenue Baptist Church to introduce their teaching series, Unshakable: Built to Stand.

The objective was to craft a visually compelling, story driven sequence that establishes a calm, elevated atmosphere before sharply shifting tone with a dramatic lightning strike. This sequence relies on deliberate pacing, atmospheric tension, and environmental depth to build anticipation.

I was responsible for multiple stages of the production pipeline, including:

• Asset & Material Editing: Texturing and refining the stone castle architecture to interact realistically with shifting light.

• Environment & Lighting Design: Setting a moody, atmospheric blue-hour tone, contrasted by high-intensity volumetric lighting during the strike.

• Compositing & Post-Production: Integrating atmospheric particles, fog, and lightning effects to emphasize weight, responsiveness, and scale.

The final piece serves as an exploration of timing, scale, and environmental storytelling within a short, impactful cinematic format.
